There comes a point in every photographer's life where they must photograph a band, and with that choice comes the inevitable decision to use a brick-wall-and-alleyway setting for the photos. Okay, so it's not the most revolutionary concept in band portraiture, but we had a short window to get the shots, so Queen street graffiti alley it was.
The band name is 21 and Rockabilly is the game, with Alex (Ace) on vocals, Marisha (Diamond) on guitar, Matt (Jack) on Bass and Steph (Spade) on drums. Long story short, a weekday evening was spent chasing the sun and getting some shots amongst nice scenery for some school publication/project that I'll cite when I get a chance.
Anyway, it was a light, fun shoot, and we got some good pics - thanks to them all for putting up with me, especially since they weren't photo regulars but still okay with playing along. Enjoy.
Final thoughts: I'm usually worried about shoots with strangers and limited time frames. This, however, worked out pretty well. Maybe they'll remember me when they grace the cover of Rolling Stone or something...[grin]
